unit 1 task 4
to answer my quiestions-
most popular game consul
most popular game
most popular radio use
most popular radio station
last film people watched
most popular network site
to collect my data I put i gave everyone a sheet to fill in, i done this by writing out the quiestion and having a box underneath for them to tick, this kind of data is quantitative data. for any different quiestions i gave them a question and room to answer it underneath.
I got my answers, and was given a questionnaire which was anlready filled in from Mr Raymound. My class filled out the questionnaire and then got mine by the class sharing out theirs.
i then put my answers onto an excel spreadsheet and put each question and a multiple choice answers underneath. for everyone is the class's questionnaire I put in the data by using a '/' for a yes/tick and wrote the questions in the higher columns.
i then sorted out the data, this made it easier to count up but the qualitative data was still longer.

I found out that these are the top three magazines, they are the most popular because they are at the right age group, they are a cheaper option for a magazine, they have a variety of information about whats on TV and what you can watch.
The most popular out of the three is the Tv choice because it tells you what is happening in the soap for either eastenders, Coronation street, Emmerdale etc.
ive found out that these are the last three magazines, they are not very popular becuase they don't match the right age group, they might not be as succesful as the others, and they are not as cheap as the top three.

interviewee's
I interviewed four different teachers and asked them about the magazine 'Goffs glossy' I asked them 5 different questions 'what should be the headline for this months magazine?' and 'reason why?', 'who does it involve?', 'why would it be a good headline?' and 'how important is it?'. After we had interviewed them we put the information on excel and named the teachers as number 1,2,3 and 4 as we saved them as anonymous.

design a questionnaire
we collected the data from a sheet that everyone answered throughout the class, we then copied the answers on to a spread sheet and ticked the boxes where it had the answers at the top, the sheets of paper was mixed up so we had different papers and had the numbers in the corner and had to match up the numbers to the sheet,
we had to answer and copy questions like what is your favorite games console? and what is you favorite DJ? etc.
what went wrong was the numbers on the sheet and matching them up because there was other numbers at the other side that was higher than others.
